The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle a significant quantity of firecrackers, with a market value of Rs 23,182, at Muri Railway Station. This successful operation is attributed to the RPF’s heightened security measures and diligent patrolling. Under the command of Pawan Kumar, RPF personnel were conducting inspections when they discovered an unclaimed large white bag on Platform 1 of Train 18626 Express. The bag was found to contain various types of fireworks. After standard procedures, including announcements to find the owner, failed to yield results, the RPF’s flying squad, led by ASI Anil Kumar, officially seized the firecrackers. The confiscated items were subsequently secured at the RPF Post in Muri, demonstrating the force’s commitment to public safety on railway premises.
