Responding to calls of shots fired around 3 a.m., deputies from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office discovered a scene of disorder after the crowd had scattered. Sheriff Burnis Wilkins confirmed that a total of thirteen individuals sustained gunshot wounds. While expressing condolences to the victims’ families, the Sheriff’s Office stated that this incident is believed to be isolated and poses no threat to the general public.
