Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren today reached the residence of Ramgarh MLA Smt. Mamta Devi in Hohad village, Dulmi block. There, he paid a heartfelt tribute to the late father-in-law of MLA Smt. Mamta Devi, Shri Sarju Mahto, by offering flowers at his picture. Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul and for strength to the bereaved family during this difficult time. The Chief Minister met MLA Smt. Mamta Devi and her family, expressed his deep condolences, and comforted them.
On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Shri Rabindra Nath Mahto, along with other MLAs and many dignitaries, also paid floral tributes to the late Shri Sarju Mahto’s picture and offered heartfelt condolences.
It is noteworthy that Ramgarh MLA Smt. Mamta Devi’s father-in-law, Sarju Mahto, passed away on October 20, 2025. The late Shri Sarju Mahto is survived by his wife, three sons, one daughter, two daughters-in-law, and a large family.
