A significant security alert has been raised after Bharatiya Janata Party MP Ravi Kishan allegedly received a death threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The threat was reportedly relayed through a phone call to the MP’s astrologer, Praveen Shastri, in Gorakhpur. Shastri informed the Ramgarh Tal Police Station about the incident on November 4, stating that the caller had issued dire warnings. The alleged threats included politically charged statements like “This time, both Modi and Yogi will be gone,” as well as explicit threats to Shastri and MP Ravi Kishan. Given the MP’s current, high-profile campaigning for the Bihar Assembly elections, Shastri has urged for immediate security enhancements. Police have commenced an investigation into the matter, focusing on tracing the call and understanding the potential reach of the alleged Bishnoi gang’s threats.
