Reinforcing the importance of punctuality and discipline, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took part in a distinctive penalty during a party training camp in Madhya Pradesh. For being 10 minutes late to the venue, he dutifully completed 10 push-ups, a rule established by the AICC Training Department head for participants. This camp is an integral part of the Sangathan Srajan Abhiyan (SSA), a strategic campaign launched to bolster the Congress party’s organizational strength, set to conclude on November 11. Party representatives emphasized that this strict adherence to regulations underscores the democratic ethos and egalitarian principles prevalent within the Congress, differentiating it from other political outfits. Gandhi’s visit, his second to Madhya Pradesh in five months, is part of a renewed push to strengthen the party’s foundation and work towards its objective of forming the government in the state by 2028. His itinerary then included campaigning in Bihar.
