On this occasion, he said that Bharat Parv is a symbol of unity in diversity of our country. Here, the culture, traditions, and pride of every state of India can be seen together. The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Shri V.K. Saxena, and the Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Arun Sao, were also present at the event.

Paying homage to the Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Bharat Parv is being organized on his 150th birth anniversary year, which will conclude on the birth anniversary of Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda — National Tribal Pride Day. He said that this festival is a strong symbol of India’s cultural and emotional integration.

Appreciating the grandeur of the Statue of Unity, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that this statue is the identity of India’s unity. He said that when Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi decided to build this statue, iron was collected from every village of the country — this is a true symbol of one India.

The Chief Minister said that just as Sardar Patel united the princely states to create one India, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has worked to strengthen the India of his dreams. He said that by deciding to rebuild the Somnath temple, Sardar Patel re-established the glory of Sanatan culture in independent India. Prime Minister Shri Modi celebrated National Unity Day with the family members of Sardar Patel, and when the entire country witnessed this scene, everyone was moved. The Chief Minister said that it is our good fortune that today the country’s heritage is in the hands of a visionary leader like Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who is carrying forward the thoughts and ideals of Sardar Patel.

He informed that recently, on the occasion of National Unity Day, Chhattisgarh’s tableau participated in the Unity Parade and gave the message of national unity to the entire country.

Chief Minister Shri Sai, while mentioning the nationwide events held on the completion of 150 years of Vande Mataram, said that Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay’s Vande Mataram and Sardar Patel’s spirit of unity are our national identity.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Sardar Patel Indianized the civil service structure, and even today, his foresight and thinking are reflected in our administrative system.

During Bharat Parv, Chief Minister Shri Sai also met the artists of Chhattisgarh’s cultural troupe who came to perform and wished them well.
