She expressed profound sorrow for the lives lost and conveyed sincere condolences from Japan to the affected families. “I am in deep sorrow to learn that many precious lives were lost in the explosion that occurred in Delhi, India. On behalf of the Government and people of Japan, I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to the victims and their bereaved families,” she shared. Takaichi also extended prayers for the full recovery of all those injured in the devastating blast. In response to the incident, which has so far resulted in 12 deaths, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has conducted extensive security review meetings. The investigation has been officially handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), underscoring the gravity of the situation and the potential for it to be classified as a terrorist act.
