The Indian Postal Service has issued a commemorative ‘My Stamp’ to honor the unparalleled courage displayed during the Battle of Rezang La. This tribute is amplified by the upcoming war film ‘120 Bahadur,’ which focuses on the heroic actions of the 13th Battalion, Kumaon Regiment. Actor Farhan Akhtar, associated with the film, shared his immense pride in this initiative on social media, emphasizing the need to remember the sacrifices of India’s soldiers. The Defence Minister inaugurated the stamp in New Delhi, underscoring the enduring legacy of the Rezang La soldiers. The launch, featuring film producers and director Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, occurs just before the 63rd anniversary of the iconic 1962 battle. The stamp celebrates the valiant spirit of the soldiers who fought in Ladakh. ‘120 Bahadur’ promises to bring to the screen the remarkable story of bravery led by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, with Farhan Akhtar in the lead. The film opens in theaters on November 21, 2025.
