    Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Provided Assistance Amount Through Cheque

    Raipur, November 13, 2025/During the Jan Darshan program organized at the residence of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today, the Chief Minister, upon the request of disabled rugby player Shri Pintu Ram Sahu from Abhanpur, Raipur district, took immediate action and approved financial aid of Rs 90,000. Shri Sahu had sought assistance to purchase a wheelchair and essential sports equipment. Understanding his circumstances and needs, the Chief Minister immediately provided him with a cheque, thereby assisting him.

    Applicant Shri Pintu Ram Sahu stated that he has been associated with the sports world for the past four years. He had visited Gwalior for the first time to play rugby on October 2, 2025. Shri Sahu is currently a final year B.A. student and, despite his disability, is committed to building his future in sports.

    Upon receiving financial assistance from the Chief Minister, Shri Sahu expressed his happiness, stating that this support is a great inspiration for him. He expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai and said that he will now work hard continuously to perform better in sports and bring laurels to Chhattisgarh.
