The splendor of Chhattisgarh’s industrial development will be showcased in Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam from November 14. The India International Trade Fair is being organized here until November 27. In this fair, an attractive Chhattisgarh pavilion is being set up on the theme of Ek Bharat-Shrestha Bharat. Industrialists and investors from all states of the country as well as international level will come to this fair. The Chhattisgarh pavilion set up at the fair will display a glimpse of the state’s industrial development. Visitors will be given complete information about Chhattisgarh’s economy, the conducive environment and arrangements for industries, and the new industrial policy. Investment promotion available in the state’s new industrial development policy, establishment of micro, small and medium enterprises, and information related to their products will also be displayed in this fair. During the fair, meetings with investors, investor connect, etc., will also be organized to increase industrial investment in Chhattisgarh.

The fair will also showcase Chhattisgarh’s rich culture and tourism potential, to attract investors for promoting employment-oriented activities based on culture and tourism. Information about the possibilities of starting industries in the fields of Chhattisgarh’s handicrafts, forest produce, and Khadi Gramodyog will also be provided in the pavilion. A digital technology-equipped exhibition focusing on the Bastar region will also be set up in the pavilion.

Chhattisgarh Day will also be celebrated on November 24 at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi, during the International Trade Fair. The Governor, Chief Minister, and cabinet ministers will also attend this program, which will start at 6 PM. This event will be organized by the Department of Culture. Every day, the cultural splendor of the state will be showcased through dance troupes at the Chhattisgarh pavilion. Live demonstrations of Chhattisgarh’s village industry handicrafts, handlooms, spinning wheels, etc., along with an exhibition and sale of excellent products, will also be arranged here.

A millet cafe will also be set up at the Chhattisgarh pavilion along with the display of millet-related products. This will attract people to the production of small millets like Kodon, Kutki, Ragi, Sanwa, etc., grown in Chhattisgarh, and their business. The fair will also showcase organic and exotic food items available in Chhattisgarh, so that these producers can get national and international recognition. Products made from forest produce will also be displayed and sold by the Minor Forest Produce Federation. Efforts will be made to arrange marketing of these products through FMCG companies at national and international levels. Information about Chhattisgarh’s attractive tourist destinations, available infrastructure, and eco-tourism will also be provided in the pavilion, so that more and more people can learn about Chhattisgarh.
