Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai assured all possible cooperation to the players
Delegation of Women’s Self Defense Organization met during Jan Darshan
Raipur, November 13, 2025/A delegation of Women’s Self Defense Organization Chhattisgarh met Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai in a courtesy meeting today at the Chief Minister’s residence during the Jan Darshan program. The delegation submitted a memorandum urging for the approval of discretionary grants for players who have enhanced the pride of the state by performing excellently in sports like Karate, Wrestling, and Taekwondo at national and international levels.
Chief Minister Shri Sai listened carefully to the suggestions and demands put forth by the office bearers and players of the organization. The players stated that they have represented Chhattisgarh in various competitions in the country and abroad and need continuous training and support to further elevate the state’s name. The players also requested for sports equipment, training facilities, and financial incentives.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai appreciated the sentiments of the players and said that the state government is committed to honoring and encouraging sports talents. He assured the delegation that their demands would be positively considered as far as possible and all possible cooperation would be provided to the players so that they can perform even better at national and international levels.
