Jharkhand Awarded Top Achiever in Business Reform Action Plan Survey (BRAP)

A major achievement for Jharkhand under the leadership and efforts of Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren, Jharkhand has received the Top Achiever Award in the Business Reform Action Plan Survey (BRAP) organized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Industry Secretary Mr. Arwa Rajkamal, Industry Director Mr. Vishal Sagar, and Managing Director, JIDA Mr. Varun Ranjan met the Chief Minister after receiving the award. Chief Minister congratulated everyone. Chief Minister said – This major achievement for the state is due to the coordinated efforts of everyone, a matter of pride for all of Jharkhand. Chief Minister said – The government is committed to promoting industrial investment in the state. Jharkhand is rapidly progressing in every field under the visionary thinking, able leadership, and meaningful efforts of Chief Minister Mr. Hemant Soren. In this context, Jharkhand has received the honor of Top Achiever in the Business Reform Action Plan Survey (BRAP) organized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. They informed the Chief Minister that Jharkhand has received this honor for its excellent performance in Business Entry, Construction Permit, Labor Regulation, and Service Sector. The Chief Minister congratulated the officials for this honor and said that this achievement is a matter of pride for the entire state. Such honors inspire us to do even better. What is the Business Reforms Action Plan Award The objective of the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) under the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry-DPIIT is to evaluate the performance of states on key regulatory and governance indicators. Through this, a competitive and reform-oriented business environment is promoted in the states. Receiving this honor signifies Jharkhand’s strong commitment to industrial investment, policy innovation, digital, and institutional efficiency.
