Mobile Phones Used to Generate Tokens, Paddy Procurement Process Becomes Transparent and Faster

    Raipur, November 21, 2025/

The ‘Tumhar Token’ mobile app, launched by the Chhattisgarh government for the Kharif Marketing Year 2025-26, is proving to be a boon for farmers by making paddy procurement smooth and transparent. This digital innovation amidst the ‘Dhan Kharidi Tyohar’ (Paddy Procurement Festival) has significantly reduced crowds at procurement centers, time wastage, and traditional complexities.

Under this system, implemented across the state as per the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai, farmers can now generate tokens for selling paddy within minutes using their mobile phones and easily sell their paddy by reaching the center at the appointed time.

52 Farmers Generated Tokens via Mobile on Friday

At the procurement centers in Ambikapur district on Friday, 52 farmers generated paddy tokens from home using the ‘Tumhar Token’ app. Its growing popularity indicates that the digital facility has quickly won the trust of the farmers.

Farmers Mr. Shyam Rajwade and Mr. Milan Ram from village Bhithhikala, who visited the Adimjati Seva Sahakari Samiti Medrakala in Ambikapur block, stated that they faced no issues at the center after generating tokens through the mobile app.

Mr. Shyam Rajwade said that he generated a token for 26 quintals of paddy from home in just a few minutes. Previously, going to the center to get a token consumed both time and labor, but now upon arrival, they received gunny bags and their paddy was weighed immediately. He praised the Chief Minister’s decision to provide a support price of Rs 3100 per quintal.

Similarly, farmer Mr. Milan Ram mentioned that he generated a token for 62 quintals of paddy using the mobile app. He did not have to visit the center repeatedly and upon arrival, the process of receiving gunny bags and weighing was completed without any hindrance. He added that this year’s procurement system is proving to be completely farmer-friendly.

Transparency and Convenience Increased with Digital Innovation

Through the ‘Tumhar Token’ app, farmers are now experiencing positive outcomes such as freedom from long queues, savings in time and labor, transparency in the token generation process, and a reduction in crowds and disorganization. Farmer satisfaction proves that this digital initiative by the state government has been successful, providing significant relief to farmers by making paddy sales simpler, faster, and more reliable.
