Raipur, 29 November 2025/ In Dhamtari district, paddy procurement for the Kharif Marketing Year 2025-26 at the support price is proceeding with complete transparency. Across 100 procurement centers, 1,27,851 farmers have registered 1,19,541.09 hectares. Between 15 and 28 November 2025, 81,704.52 tonnes of paddy were purchased from 17,580 farmers, and the total value of Rs 193.86 crore was disbursed daily to farmers’ accounts. Nodal officers conducted weekly inspections, and a crackdown on illegal storage and transport led to the seizure of 1,253 tonnes of paddy. A total of 102 rice mills were registered, with 55 authorized to lift 2,51,552 tonnes. The Command and Control Center resolved 14 out of 17 complaints received.
