    Raipur December 4, 2025/Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today gifted development works worth Rs 195.26 crore at a program organized in village Suhela of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. In the program, he handed over the keys of houses to 1073 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), gas connections to three thousand women under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, land rights records to five thousand farmers under Pradhan Mantri Swamitva Yojana, and distributed materials and checks to beneficiaries under various schemes.

    Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s aim is that every house should have a pucca house, toilet, clean drinking water, and the benefit of the Prime Minister Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojana. To realize this objective, our government is working with commitment for the benefit of the public. He said that Chhattisgarh is completing 25 years as a separate state and we are celebrating our silver jubilee year. The promises made in Prime Minister Modi’s guarantee before the formation of the government are being fulfilled one by one.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that paddy is being purchased in the state at the rate of Rs 3,100 per quintal, with 21 quintals per acre. The rate for Tendu leaf collection has been increased to Rs 5,500 per standard bag. Farmers have also been provided with the bonus pending for two years. A large number of women are receiving benefits from the Matari Vandan Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. He said that under the Prime Minister Suryaghar Yojana, free electricity will be provided to every household. A significant subsidy is also available under this scheme, so more and more people should install solar panels in their homes and avail the benefits.

    He praised the district administration’s ‘Hum Honge Kamyab’ initiative and said that more than 500 youths have benefited so far from the efforts being made to train them according to their interests for a better future.

    Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao and Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal also addressed the program. They said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Sai, Chhattisgarh is touching new heights of development and big tasks are being accomplished with ease. Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma informed that roads worth more than Rs 100 crore have been sanctioned in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district alone.

    During the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced the establishment of a new college in Suhela, construction of a Community Health Center building in Tilda, a Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School building and a new commercial complex in Balodabazar. He also announced the construction of sheds at 50 paddy procurement centers in the district at a cost of Rs 10 lakh each for farmers, and the construction of dividers and installation of lights up to one kilometer on all three roads at Suhela Tigadda.

    Among the development works inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Sai were 1073 houses built at a cost of Rs 12.87 crore under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), and water supply schemes constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 7.74 crore in Amakoni, Hathband, Pausri, Semrahdih, and Khapradih.

    The major foundation stone laying works include strengthening of the Balodabazar–Risda–Hathband road at a cost of Rs 49.17 crore, Risda bypass road in Balodabazar at a cost of Rs 20.98 crore, Indoor Stadium Complex in Balodabazar at a cost of Rs 15.59 crore, 717 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) at a cost of Rs 8.60 crore, and construction of Sungera Anicut across Kolhan Nala at a cost of Rs 8.04 crore.

    More than Rs 5 crore worth of beneficiary-oriented materials and checks were distributed at the program. This mainly includes the return of Rs 27 lakh in cyber fraud cases, distribution of Rs 83 lakh under various schemes of the Labor Department, post-matric scholarships worth Rs 4.25 crore to 8333 students, Rs 25 lakh to 16 women under self-help groups and ‘Saksham’ scheme, Rs 9.69 lakh to 10 beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Employment Generation Program, and payment of Rs 6.81 lakh to 60 beneficiaries under the ‘Hum Honge Kamyab’ scheme.

    On this occasion, Balodabazar-Bhatapara District Panchayat President Akanksha Jaiswal, District Panchayat President Raipur Naveen Agarwal, former MLA Shivratan Sharma, Women’s Commission member Lakshmi Verma, Janpad President Simga Daulat Pal, and many other public representatives and a large number of villagers were present.
