Giridih: A wave of protest has swept through Dhanwar in Giridih district, as the CPI(ML) and RJD parties have united to demand the removal of Station House Officer Satyendra Kumar Pal. The protestors claim that the SHO is actively enabling criminal elements and treating public representatives and ordinary citizens with disdain when they approach the police station. In response to these escalating concerns, a large protest march was organized today in Dhanwar market, drawing hundreds of participants. The march was characterized by strong sloganeering against SHO Satyendra Kumar Pal, with protestors demanding his immediate dismissal and stringent action. Former Dhanwar MLA Rajkumar Yadav was a key figure in the demonstration, standing in solidarity with the protestors. Allegations were made by CPI(ML) and RJD leaders that SHO Pal is providing patronage to land mafias and criminals, and is reportedly mistreating individuals seeking help from the police. The protestors are resolute in their demand for the SHO’s termination and expect swift governmental intervention to address the alleged corruption and misconduct.
