    Jaspur will host a state‑of‑the‑art archery academy. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai’s generous gift of 20.53 crore has received approval. Rourkela, 13 December 25/ A state‑of‑the‑art archery academy means an academy where players receive world‑class training, modern equipment and premium facilities (such as hostels, indoor/outdoor ranges) so that they can perform well on national and international levels. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the expansion of sports facilities has brought another big gift to Jaspur district. Approval has been granted for the construction of an advanced archery academy (archery center) in Pandara Path of Baghicha Vikas Khanda, Jaspur district. For the construction of this ambitious project, NTPC Limited has approved 20.53 crore rupees from its CSR fund. An excellent training centre will be established for young archers. The new archery academy will provide rural and tribal youths in the district with international‑level sports facilities. This initiative will decisively make Jaspur a hub for national and international archery talent in the future. It is yet another major example of the Chief Minister’s commitment to hone sporting talent and bring them to the world stage. The establishment of the academy will not only create a new identity for Jaspur in the sports arena but will also emerge as an excellent training centre for young archers of the country. This initiative is considered a big step toward developing sports and preparing talented players for international levels. Financial support from NTPC’s Corporate Social Responsibility department. NTPC Limited will provide financial assistance in building the archery academy under its CSR scheme. Proposed works include outdoor and air‑conditioned indoor archery ranges, a high‑performance training centre and hostels. The announcement has generated enthusiasm among Jaspur’s youths and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has expressed heartfelt gratitude.
