Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai released the documentary titled “Untold Story of Late Shri Rajni Dattatreya Upaasna” on the life of the late first female legislator of Raipur, Mrs. Rajni Dattatreya Upaasna.
The ceremony took place at the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur on December 26, 2025. The chief minister remembered the social, political, and public service contributions of the late Mrs. Upaasna, stating that her life has been a symbol of struggle, dedication, and inspiration. During crises such as the emergency, her protection of democracy, and her efforts toward the development of Raipur, the upliftment of women, and disadvantaged groups, her contributions will continue to inspire.
Chief Minister Sai emphasized that the documentary will be a powerful medium to acquaint future generations with her personality and deeds. During the release program, Shri Sachidanand Upaasna and his relatives were present.
