Moscow hosted the landmark 16th Russia-India Business Dialogue, attracting more than 1,250 participants eager to propel bilateral trade forward. Co-organized by key entities including the Indian Business Alliance, the Business Council for Cooperation with India, Moscow Government, and Roscongress Foundation, the conference vowed to sustain joint efforts at international events such as the St. Petersburg Economic Forum in June.

The flagship session dissected critical cooperation vectors: tackling trade challenges, achieving balance in exchanges, enhancing cargo transport and fiscal reliability, industrial alliances, import reduction, and partnerships in energy, technology, and innovation.

Moscow’s Sergei Cheremin painted an optimistic picture of escalating trade dynamics turning practical. With 50+ joint programs in the past year, priorities include amplifying Indian corporate presence, sectoral collaborations in industry, drugs, electronics, creative fields, reciprocal investments, and advanced tech deliveries.

Sammy Kotwani of the Indian Business Alliance framed the event as a fresh era of strategic synergy, rooted in tangible work and regional demands. The scale of participation signals deep-seated confidence for lasting collaboration.

Addressing the session, Alexei Valkov of Roscongress stressed India’s integral role in their initiatives, extending conversations through worldwide platforms to fortify the Indo-Russian economic bond.
