In a strategic move to supercharge Bihar’s growth engine, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar descended on Sitamarhi and Shivhar Monday as part of his Samriddhi Yatra. He rolled out new projects, unveiled foundations, and put development schemes under the microscope.

Review sessions unfolded at Sitamarhi’s Hit Narayan High School in Chandouli and Shivhar’s bustling Kisan Maidan. Officials faced tough questions on Prakriti Yatra deliverables, with Kumar insisting on zero tolerance for delays.

The Saat Nischay-2 agenda took center stage. ‘One crore jobs in five years – that’s our promise,’ Kumar asserted. Incentives for industries and self-starters are flowing freely, with economic packages designed to lure investors. All 38 districts now boast plug-and-play facilities.

This industrial push aims to skill up youth, ignite entrepreneurship, and lock in long-term prosperity. Bihar’s transformation from laggard to leader hinges on such bold steps.

Kumar doubled down on Saat Nischay-3, positioning it as Bihar’s ticket to elite status among states. ‘Sabka Samman – Jeevan Aasaan’ zeroes in on pain points, making life smoother through innovative governance. The machinery is in overdrive.

District Magistrates Richi Pandey and Prabhata Rani laid out data-driven reports on schemes’ performance, from Saat Nischay-2 to fresh initiatives, plus district-specific advances. Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary joined, signaling all-hands-on-deck urgency.

Nitish Kumar’s yatra isn’t just review – it’s a clarion call for Bihar to rise, blending policy with passion for real change.
