Dozens of commuters had a miraculous escape on Thursday when a speeding express train collided with a truck at the Rohini-Nawadih railway gate in Deoghar, Jharkhand. The accident, which occurred during the morning rush hour at approximately 9:38 AM, involved the Gonda-Asansol Express and a transport truck carrying rice. Local reports indicate that the railway crossing was heavily congested when the train arrived unexpectedly on the Down line. The resulting impact sent shockwaves through the local community, as the train’s engine struck the side of the truck with significant force. The situation could have turned fatal as two bikes were also caught in the aftermath of the collision. The bikers were forced to jump off their vehicles to save their lives as the truck was pushed into them by the momentum of the train. Fortunately, no lives were lost in what could have been a major tragedy.
