Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena took a decisive stride in fortifying the city’s educational backbone by opening the fifth ‘Arambh’ library in Vikaspuri this Thursday. The occasion also featured the debut of striking column-like fountains at prominent Dwarka crossroads, enhancing both learning and city aesthetics.

DDA representatives explained that the library operates nonstop, accommodating over 180 students daily in three-shift rotations. Focused on West Delhi’s learners, it offers an economical yet premium space for uninterrupted study, addressing a critical need in the region.

Patrons will enjoy top-tier facilities: high-speed Wi-Fi, customizable study modules, secure storage units, comprehensive CCTV security, and a cafeteria for convenience. These elements create an ideal setting for academic excellence without financial strain.

In his keynote, Saxena portrayed Delhi as India’s educational powerhouse, drawing talent nationwide. He hailed ‘Arambh’ for its affordable modernity, thanking DDA profusely. “It’s a boon for resource-constrained students, fueling the comprehensive growth of our youth—tomorrow’s leaders.”

During the fountain unveiling in Dwarka, the LG vowed unwavering commitment to integrated capital development, responsive to urban pressures and citizen priorities. This launch signals broader efforts to democratize education, ensuring every aspiring mind has a fighting chance.

As these libraries proliferate, they promise to transform study habits, reduce dropout risks, and elevate Delhi’s profile as a hub for merit-based opportunity.
