In a boost to national youth engagement, PM Narendra Modi is set to speak at the NCC PM Rally on January 28, 3:30 PM, at Delhi’s Cariappa Parade Ground. The theme, ‘Nation First – Youth Duty Bound,’ captures the essence of patriotism, responsibility, and structured youth empowerment.
This annual spectacle crowns the NCC Republic Day Camp 2026, which hosted 2,406 dedicated cadets from every corner of India over a month. Global ties strengthen with 207 participants from 21 nations, underscoring shared values of youth leadership worldwide.
The program features electrifying cultural shows by NCC, NSS, and stadium contingents, spotlighting their drive in community service, moral fortitude, and country-building efforts. It’s a feast of energy and inspiration for all present.
Days prior, on January 18, MoS Defence Sanjay Seth toured the camp at Delhi Cantt, receiving a ceremonial guard of honor followed by an impressive band routine from Sindhia School, Gwalior cadets. Addressing the gathering, Seth framed Republic Day as reverence for the Constitution and martyrs.
Positioning cadets as torchbearers from heritage to horizon, he hailed the camp’s showcase of discipline and command skills. Pushing ‘Vocal for Local,’ Seth cited the startup revolution: from 800 entities to over 200,000, fueled by PM Modi’s Startup India vision.
He saluted 15 cyclists who traversed 1,300 km from Ranchi to Delhi for Veer Birsa Munda, embodying national integration. Praise extended to 10 Everest-bound cadets for 2025, epitomizing resilience.
With Modi’s address on deck, the event reinforces youth as the bedrock of India’s rising global stature.
