Haryana is set to pioneer tech-savvy budgeting as Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced Tuesday that over 9,000 public suggestions via an AI app will influence the 2026-27 financial blueprint.
At the concluding pre-budget consultation in Panchkula under the Haryana Vision 2047 framework, Saini, flanked by ministers, MPs, and MLAs, committed to weaving citizen inputs into a budget that fosters optimism statewide.
The AI platform, introduced January 6, has been a resounding success, complemented by 12 extensive meetings with 1,597 representatives from diverse groups—farmers, educators, industrialists, women, health workers, youth, and local leaders—resulting in 1,513 suggestions.
‘Every proposal from the public and elected reps will be thoughtfully reviewed,’ Saini said, inviting more inputs until January 31. He envisioned the budget as a people’s document, transcending statistics to embody hopes and link present challenges with future goals.
With PM Narendra Modi’s leadership, legislative backing, and public faith, Haryana’s journey to becoming a developed state by 2047 is unstoppable, Saini declared, underscoring a commitment to transparent, AI-enhanced governance.
