Tomorrow, New Delhi hosts a landmark MoU signing between AYUSH Export Promotion Council and Zepto Limited, orchestrated by the Ministry of AYUSH on January 28. The pact is designed to craft an efficient digital ecosystem that propels certified AYUSH pharmaceuticals and wellness goods via reliable e-channels, blending heritage with high-speed commerce.

Leading the ceremony is Minister Prataprao Jadhav, joined by Secretary Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha. Anurag Sharma of AYUSHExcil and Kaivalya Vohra of Zepto will formalize the agreement. This fusion of traditional Indian healthcare with modern quick commerce is poised to supercharge digital accessibility, instill deeper consumer faith, and broaden market horizons for AYUSH products.

Core elements feature a specialized AYUSH hub on Zepto for effortless consumer access. Rigorous enforcement of AYUSH Quality Mark standards will safeguard product integrity. AYUSHExcil’s role extends to selecting MSME manufacturers for smooth digital integration. Co-branded initiatives will educate on authentic info and prudent application of AYUSH items, complemented by council-approved learning materials available on the platform.

AYUSH ventures stand to gain immensely from India’s digital boom, with consumers benefiting from assured quality and availability. Echoing the Ministry’s global ambitions for AYUSH in wellness, this MoU dovetails with national priorities like Digital India, streamlined business operations, and Make in India, heralding a new era of tech-enabled traditional health solutions.
