Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai took center stage Tuesday at his Raipur office, releasing the trailer for ‘Godaan’—a groundbreaking film celebrating Gau Mata’s legacy. This first-of-its-kind project arrives amid heightened state focus on livestock welfare.
Sai reaffirmed the administration’s dedication: ‘Gau Mata’s protection is paramount, revered spiritually and vital economically.’ He thrilled audiences by exempting the film from taxes in Chhattisgarh, amplifying its conservation message.
Practical steps were outlined: gaushala fodder aid risen to Rs 35/day from Rs 20, operational grants at Rs 25 lakh. ‘Gaudhams’ now shelter stray herds effectively, showcasing tangible progress.
Rooted in tradition, Sai spoke of the cow housing 33 crore divinities, with Panchagavya essential in ceremonies. ‘Godaan’ (2 hours 9 mins) will illuminate these truths, earning his team’s praise.
The program featured the poster reveal, song ‘Save Gau Mata’s Life, Fellow Countrymen,’ and Panchagavya merchandise launch. Kamadhenu Film Productions brings it to screens February 6, advocating cow dung’s role in sustainable agriculture through storytelling’s reach.
Joining were director Vinod Chaudhary, Ajit Mahapatra, Shantanu Shukla, Dr. IP Singh, Subodh Rathi, dignitaries, and journalists. This event signals cinema’s role in cultural revival and policy promotion.
