Political rhetoric has escalated following Mamata Banerjee’s critique of the aircraft accident tied to Ajit Pawar’s kin. Congress MP Sukhdev Bhagat demands a fair inquiry, exposing that technical shortcomings in the plane were known well in advance.
Bhagat described the event as part of a disturbing chain, citing prior issues under scrutiny and parallels with the Rupani episode and an Army officer’s demise. ‘These aren’t random; we need to pinpoint blame and triggers,’ he declared, underscoring the stakes for aviation security.
He insisted on comprehensive, impartial scrutiny leading to systemic changes. ‘Ritualistic probes won’t cut it—real findings must drive reforms,’ Bhagat emphasized, rallying for enhanced oversight to avert more lives lost.
Turning to alliance dynamics, Bhagat commented on DMK-Congress negotiations over Delhi seats. Alliances demand honoring cadre feelings, he argued, with Congress eyeing more seats in vital regions for balanced representation.
Top leadership will arbitrate with Tamil Nadu seniors collaboratively, he revealed. Brushing aside pressure tactics talk, Bhagat affirmed no tensions exist, forecasting a dialogue-driven resolution soon.
