Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a powerhouse roundtable with AI sector CEOs and specialists at Lok Kalyan Marg on Thursday. Aligned with the forthcoming India AI Impact Summit, the session sought to deepen collaborations, highlight breakthroughs, and invigorate India’s AI aspirations.

Leaders affirmed commitment to AI independence, applauding the robust ecosystem and policy push to make India a frontrunner internationally.

The PM advocated swift adoption of emerging tech in every sphere to underpin national advancement, insisting on prioritizing home-developed solutions for strategic sectors.

He rallied attendees to harness the summit for groundbreaking prospects and rapid progress. Citing UPI as a blueprint for digital triumph, Modi expressed confidence in mirroring it through AI excellence.

India’s scale, diversity, and democratic fabric uniquely position it as a trusted digital steward globally, he observed. Beyond impact, Indian tech must inspire worldwide, with the nation evolving into a prime AI collaboration hub.

Discussions spotlighted safeguarding data and broadening tech access. Modi demanded an AI environment defined by transparency, justice, and security, with ethics as the bedrock—no exceptions. He emphasized skill-building and talent cultivation aligned with India’s core ethos.

The forum featured execs from TCS, HCL, Adani, Jio, Nxtra Data, academic experts from top IITs and IIIT, alongside IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and State Minister Jitin Prasad.
