Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strategic dialogue with top IT executives in New Delhi has sparked commitments to advance AI infused with Indian values. Held on Thursday, the meeting illuminated pathways for innovation that honor cultural heritage while embracing futuristic tech.

HCL Tech’s C Vijayakumar was particularly struck by Modi’s AI acumen. ‘An inspiring session,’ he said, emphasizing the PM’s drive for globally acclaimed solutions developed in India.

LTIMindtree’s Venugopal Lambu ranked it among the most motivational talks with international figures, covering technology’s influence on development, health, and inspiration worldwide.

Discussions with TCS CEO K Krithivasan touched on self-dependence and secure data handling in AI frameworks. Wipro CEO Srini Pallia elaborated on empowering skills, creating India-focused tools, building sovereign tech bases, and extending help abroad.

Modi cited UPI’s triumph as a model for achieving AI autonomy and export prowess, per Pallia. Zoho CEO Sridhar Vembu welcomed the impetus for solving India-specific problems through accessible AI. Adani Connex CEO Jayakumar Janakaraj captured Modi’s analogy of AI as a vibrant, India-embodied force rather than cold infrastructure.

As these visionaries align, India’s AI journey promises ethical leadership. This collaboration between policy and industry heralds a new era of tech sovereignty and global contributions.
