Geopolitical headwinds haven’t deterred UK PM Keir Starmer from embarking on a landmark China visit—the first in eight years by a British leader. It’s part of a surge in high-level diplomacy, as global figures recognize Beijing’s influence.

CGTN’s survey offers revealing insights: 85.2% link these visits to consensus on a fair multipolar order and inclusive economic globalization. The findings highlight a shared vision amid rising challenges.

Stability in international relations motivates the trip, according to 64.8% of respondents. China-UK economic ties, built on mutual advantage, boast $103.7 billion in goods trade last year—a robust foundation.

British companies eye China’s enormous market eagerly, with 85.8% viewing it as prime territory for expansion. Bilateral evolution repeatedly validates the power of partnership.

For enduring relations, 83.1% stress upholding respect, equality, and win-win approaches while moving in tandem. Rational dialogue, grounded in respect and cooperation, can bridge gaps, say 68.2%.

As talks progress, expectations run high for breakthroughs in trade, tech, and more. This engagement could redefine China-UK bonds, proving that principled collaboration delivers real-world gains in a divided world.
