India’s capital witnessed a wave of warm felicitations from prominent figures as the nation commemorated the Prakash Purb of Guru Har Rai Ji, the compassionate seventh Guru of Sikhism. Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, took to X to convey his deepest wishes, spotlighting the Guru’s pivotal role in fortifying langar customs and spreading boundless kindness. ‘Guru Sahib healed the ailing without discrimination, his lessons a perennial wellspring of humanity,’ Shah articulated.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla paid homage through meditative recall, describing the Guru’s journey steeped in renunciation and human upliftment. Birla urged the country to draw inspiration from this embodiment of valor, empathy, and enlightenment.

In a moving post, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan prostrated virtually at the Guru’s feet, committing to emulate his sacrifices for societal good. ‘Let our deeds honor his divine path,’ he implored.

Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini extolled the Guru’s life as a pinnacle of moral fortitude and selfless aid, which propelled Sikh principles forward with renewed vigor.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s message centered on dharma of benevolence and ecological harmony, calling for collective vows to safeguard the environment in the Guru’s name.

This confluence of voices from Delhi to state capitals underscores a shared reverence, weaving Guru Har Rai’s timeless ethos of service and harmony into the nation’s cultural tapestry.
