BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal has firmly supported Prime Minister Modi’s parliamentary attack on the Gandhi family, calling their adoption of the Gandhi surname a ‘major delusion.’ In an IANS interaction, he accused Congress of twisting facts and claiming borrowed legacies.
‘To take another’s surname, attach it to yours, and declare yourself the heir—that’s the Gandhi family’s biggest folly,’ Khandelwal declared. He vouched for the truth in Modi’s words about the family ‘stealing’ the name.
Khandelwal turned his critique to Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, questioning his adherence to governance norms. ‘Reddy’s conduct and speeches expose his political immaturity; his regime has eroded dignity, leaving people disillusioned,’ he charged.
Regarding Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘Ghuskhor Pandit,’ the MP called for patience. ‘Details on storyline, naming, and clearance are essential before opinions. Fact-based films post-certification need no obstruction,’ he stated prudently.
Mourning the Meghalaya mining mishap, Khandelwal conveyed heartfelt condolences. He insisted on rigorous inquiry, severe penalties, and proper aid for victims’ kin.
On Owaisi’s statements, Khandelwal noted Sarma’s prior clarification. ‘Owaisi seeks perpetual spotlight through politics. Better to channel energy into local advancement,’ he suggested.
