Bastara Pandum is dedicated to the conservation and promotion of tribal art and culture
Raipur, February 08, 2026/ The closing ceremony of the three-day Bastar Pandum, dedicated to the conservation and promotion of Bastar’s tribal art and culture, is set to witness a historic and grand event on February 9. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah will be the Chief Guest at the program. The ceremony will be presided over by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai.
This event, celebrated with the motto ‘Festival of Nature and Tradition’, is a powerful medium to showcase the essence of Bastar’s soil and its rich tribal culture on a global platform. The grand closing ceremony is scheduled for February 9, starting at 11 AM at Lalbagh Maidan, Jagdalpur.
Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu and Speaker of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Arun Sao and Shri Vijay Sharma will also attend the program. On this occasion, Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary, Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma, Food Minister Shri Dayaldas Baghel, Industry Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan, School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav, Skill Development Minister Shri Guru Khushwant Saheb, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade will be present.
