Dense fog blankets northern India; Delhi information minimal temperature at 8.8℃

Several components within the north-India together with Delhi witnessed low visibility on account of dense fog on Monday morning. According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), dense fog was seen at locations over east UP and Bihar, remoted pockets over Chandigarh, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Tripura, and north Odisha. While the reasonable fog was witnessed at remoted pockets over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, north Madhya Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya at 5:30 am.
Meanwhile, cities like Varanasi, Malda, Balasore, Paradip recorded visibility of 25 meters every at 5:30 am in the present day morning. 50-meter visibility recorded in Chandigarh, Baharaich, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Gaya, Bhagalpur, Purnea, Agartala. While 200 meters every in Patiala, Hissar, Gwalior, Gorakhpur, Chandbali, Kailashahar, Tezpur. 
Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur recorded a minimal temperature of 9 levels Celsius together with dense fog within the metropolis. Moradabad witnesses lowered visibility as dense fog engulfs the town. People mild the hearth to maintain themselves heat.

However, Delhi IMD stated that Palam and Safdarjung observatories recorded 9.8℃ and eight.8℃ temperatures respectively.
The visibility of 500 meters reported in Safdarjung and Palam at 5:30 am in the present day.
