Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai envisions a future where the state rivals India’s top tech hubs. Speaking at the unveiling of a crucial MoU with STPI, he highlighted efforts to blend natural wealth with technological prowess, creating vast employment avenues for the youth.
Fueled by superior digital governance and investment incentives, Chhattisgarh is drawing global attention as a reliable base for IT, ITES, and next-gen tech. The agreement will birth two flagship centers: one for entrepreneurship and another for electronics system design.
Youth-focused programs will drive startups in AI, herbal medtech from local forests, urban smart solutions, and agricultural tech revolutions. The ESDD Center stands out, equipped to mentor 30-40 hardware startups yearly, from ideation to market-ready prototypes.
Partnering with STPI, which boasts 68 centers and specialized CoEs, ensures Chhattisgarh benefits from battle-tested expertise. Sai called this MoU a cornerstone for economic acceleration, set to etch the state’s name in India’s innovation narrative.
The gathering featured senior officials like Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh and STPI representatives, signaling strong governmental and industry backing for this youth-centric tech revolution.
