In a bold fiscal statement, Uttar Pradesh will table its record-breaking budget in the state assembly on Wednesday, promising all-round advancement. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak called it transformative, set to bolster foundational infrastructure and expedite overdue projects that have lingered for years.
Pathak told reporters that the budget is people-centric, aimed at bettering the lives of the poor and fulfilling the sacred ‘Viksit Bharat’ resolve. ‘We’ve woven in every assurance given to voters,’ he said, radiating assurance.
He lambasted the opposition for their irrelevance. ‘Exhausted of arguments, they’ve always favored stagnation over progress—unlike our forward-marching administration,’ Pathak fired.
Delving into specifics, Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna stressed its universality, with focused provisions for females, agriculture, youth, weaker sections, and manual laborers. Heavy capital outlays are poised to spawn employment opportunities. Khanna beseeched rivals: ‘Cooperate on this vital agenda; Yogi govt has justly served all.’
Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh lauded the blueprint, attributing UP’s tourism boom to PM Modi’s vision and CM Yogi’s stewardship post-2017. ‘The state’s fortunes have turned; this budget cements our path to elevated development,’ he proclaimed.
