In a boost to India’s tech ambitions, PM Narendra Modi inaugurates the India AI Impact Expo 2026 today at New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam. Scheduled through February 20, the event and concurrent summit occupy over 70,000 square meters across 10 dynamic arenas.
A stellar lineup features multinational tech firms, startups, educational and research institutions, ministries from central and state levels, plus global partners. Notably, 13 countries—Austria, Japan, Russia, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Serbia, Estonia, Tajikistan, and African representatives—will host pavilions emphasizing AI diplomacy and cooperation.
The expo boasts 300+ themed pavilions and real-time demonstrations under the pillars of People, Planet, and Progress. Over 600 startups are geared up to exhibit scalable AI technologies with proven real-life applications and live models.
With projections of 250,000+ visitors, many from abroad, the focus is on sparking international AI alliances and commercial ventures. Expect 500+ in-depth sessions led by 3,250 speakers and panelists, tackling AI’s sectoral disruptions and pathways for universal access.
As per the Prime Minister’s Office statement, this is India’s definitive AI showcase, seamlessly integrating policy frameworks with on-ground execution, nurturing breakthroughs for expansion, and democratizing technology for the masses.
