Noida’s Shivalik Park in Sector 33A is set to burst into bloom as the annual flower show unfolds from February 19 to 22. All arrangements are complete for this four-day spectacle near Shilp Haat, drawing floral aficionados from across the region.
This edition’s theme weaves religious and cultural threads, spotlighting a jaw-dropping Kedarnath Temple model made of flowers—30 feet long, 40 feet tall. Symbolic elements like 8×3-foot Trishul, Damru, and Nandi sculptures guard its entrance. The thematic main gate rises 22 feet long and 25 feet high.
Novel attractions include a 6-foot bitter gourd elephant, 7-foot pathway baskets with specialized flower arrangements, and grand 10×12-foot entry structures. The display extends to creative replicas such as Dholak shapes, Matka flows, Buddha Lotus, and beyond.
Expect 90+ stalls from 38 nurseries, stocking seeds, manure, saplings, decor, tools, and pots—some hailing from distant Kalimpong and Bhimtal. Major exhibitors range from government bodies and military to tech giants and schools.
Programming kicks off with dignitaries Dr. Mahesh Sharma and Pankaj Singh, ITBP bands on day one, enhanced performances on day two, garden competitions and prizes on day three, and youth-focused painting plus poetry on the final day with poets of note.
As Noida embraces this floral fest, it underscores the city’s commitment to green initiatives and cultural celebrations, promising joy and inspiration for all ages.
