Prime Minister Narendra Modi rolled out the red carpet for innovation leaders Friday at Seva Tirth, engaging 16 CEOs and founders of AI and deep tech startups in a focused discussion on homegrown solutions.
The startups, working in diverse fields like health, agri-tech, cyber safety, space, and social inclusion, demonstrated their cutting-edge projects. A PMO release highlighted their role in solving large-scale national hurdles. In health, AI is powering precise diagnostics, genetic interventions, and smart record-keeping to extend top-tier services to every doorstep.
Agricultural advancements include geospatial mapping and subaquatic intelligence for higher yields and risk management against weather extremes. Other areas covered robust cybersecurity, principled AI development, orbital technologies, judicial digitization, and vernacular education platforms for societal and business growth.
Lauding their ingenuity, the Prime Minister called for solutions customized to India’s context. He animatedly discussed AI’s scope in farming and eco-preservation, including real-time tracking of soil vitality, crop performance, and fertilizer efficiency. Emphasizing cultural preservation, PM Modi advocated expanding AI for mother-tongue higher learning.
Notable participants were from Abridge, Adalat AI, Brainsite AI, Credo AI, Eka Care, Gleen, Inogal, Invideo, Miko, Origin, Prophase, Rassen, Rubric, SatSure, Supernova, and Sypha AI. The meeting saw attendance from top bureaucrats P.K. Mishra, Shaktikanta Das, and junior minister Jitin Prasada.
