Former Union Minister and Hamirpur Lok Sabha MP Anurag Thakur Friday denounced the Congress party’s Youth Wing for their deplorable protest at the India AI Summit in Delhi, accusing them of low-brow politics that shames the nation. At a moment of global spotlight on India’s innovation, Congress chose infamy over support.
‘Despite the world marveling at India’s AI hosting, Congress disrupts to diminish us,’ Thakur asserted. He argued the party’s fixation on opposing PM Modi and NDA has rendered it anti-national, transforming from a proud outfit to a national liability.
Thakur targeted Rahul Gandhi’s stewardship, saying Congress thrives on foreign-pleasing, India-bashing agendas while disregarding homegrown success. ‘As nations laud our technological edge, Congress deploys base-level protests to defile our reputation,’ he observed. This, he stressed, strikes at India’s global honor beyond any single administration.
Recounting instances, Thakur said Congress protests mark every Indian milestone. Their core is anti-tech, anti-development, anti-Modi, and increasingly anti-India. He interrogated: ‘Does Rahul’s Congress seek to frighten investors, sap national strength, and weaponize world stages against us?’
Thakur demanded unequivocal rejection of these anarchic bids to tarnish India’s image abroad. In an era of rapid advancement, he positioned BJP’s vision as the antidote to Congress’s regressive opposition, rallying for national unity and pride.
