Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s presence at Giroudpuri Dham’s Sant Samagam and Guru Darshan Mela marked a significant blend of spirituality and state policy on Sunday. Located in Baloda Bazar, this revered site of Baba Guru Ghasidas hosted a three-day extravaganza starting February 22, culminating on February 24, 2026.
Sai began with darshan and worship at the Guru Gaddi, invoking divine grace for Chhattisgarh’s prosperity. His speech centered on Ghasidas’ profound dictum, ‘Man khe – man khe ek samaan,’ a call for human unity that his government embraces fully.
‘We are diligently following Baba Guru Ghasidas’ path,’ Sai stated, outlining development strides at the dharm. The towering Jaitkham and expanded facilities exemplify this dedication. He commended the district team’s innovations, including a user-friendly website and mobile app for fair updates, which he personally verified via QR scan.
Distributing prasad from the primary shrine, Sai connected directly with devotees, sparking joy among women SHGs and residents. The fair draws Satnam Panth adherents nationwide and internationally, backed by robust logistics.
Preparations are top-notch: 1,150 security personnel, 60 CCTVs, nine health posts, ten ambulances, 250 temp water connections, 48 tankers, 550 sanitation staff, ample toilets (fixed and mobile), bathing ghats, electrical transformers, generators, fire vehicles, and cranes.
Esteemed guests included spiritual heads like Guru Baldas Saheb and Guru Somesh Baba, MP Kamlesh Jangde, MLA Rohit Sahu, officials like Collector Deepak Soni, and SP Bhavna Gupta. This event underscores the CM’s vision of inclusive growth inspired by Ghasidas’ legacy.
