Opposition Leader VD Satheesan turned the tables on Kerala Health Minister Veena George Friday, mocking her as a figure of ridicule after CPI(M) reportedly concocted an injury claim from a Kannur protest to stoke violence everywhere.
In Adoor, chatting with journalists, he observed folks giggling at her mention. Satheesan condemned the ‘outright falsehood’ propagated by CPI(M) that George was hurt in Wednesday’s KSU agitation at Kannur station, pretext for statewide mayhem.
Retaliation hit hard: a KSU official’s house bombed, workers falsely accused of murder attempts and jailed. Five activists are detained for black-flagging George’s platform entry.
Truth has dawned on Kerala, Satheesan said, as the minister’s, Shamseer’s, Vijayan’s, and Govindan’s platform remarks stand exposed as fabrications. No such attack occurred to warrant their unrest summons.
Satheesan’s tour saw propaganda trashed in three districts—Pathanamthitta, Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram—with injuries and country bomb assaults on homes. He rejected dupatta-grabbing and hand-holding claims against KSU as violence-baiting lies.
The ‘assault story’ aimed to bury health crises but crumbled. Medical bulletins list no attack injuries; surgery talks were hype without hospital need—a staged farce public, media, and railways recognize.
Satheesan demanded quashing KSU murder charges and case against Govindan for riots. Opposition commits to political-legal warfare, insisting CPI(M) end violence now.
