Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai scripted a new chapter in farmer welfare by crediting ₹10,324 crore to 25.28 lakh accounts under Krishak Unnati Yojana during a vibrant mega-convention in Bilha. Timed perfectly before Holi, the initiative ensures festive celebrations free from financial stress.
In Bilaspur, 1.25 lakh beneficiaries got ₹494.38 crore instantly. The CM launched completed works worth ₹15.99 crore and 82 upcoming projects at ₹247.18 crore, injecting momentum into regional advancement. Cultural tributes and a motivational video underscored the scheme’s empowering theme.
Holi wishes flowed as Sai declared it farmers’ honor day. Paddy sellers now access over ₹10,000 crore collectively. Innovations like zero-percent interest loans, credit cards, unmatched MSP, subsidies, irrigation boosts, and laborer aid paint a prosperous future.
Aligning with central schemes, Sai noted PM-KISAN’s ₹6,000 yearly support and ₹13,000 crore farm budget. Mineral exploitation, tourism growth, NDDB dairy thrust, and swift promise delivery—like 18 lakh homes—define governance. On-site pledges upgraded health, education, sports, and community facilities with ₹1 crore aid.
Agriculture Minister Ram Vichar Netam called it historic, praising the CM’s direct engagement. MLA Dharmlal Kaushik celebrated the sweat-equity reward, as reports affirmed the scheme’s role in livelihood fortification.
