On a significant milestone, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar celebrated his 75th birthday, receiving accolades from Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, who arrived at his Patna residence with birthday greetings. Choudhary eloquently termed him ‘Vikas Purush’ (Development Man), ‘Sushasan Babu’ (Good Governance Icon), and the people’s favorite leader.
The NDA government’s achievements under Kumar include elevating Bihar from decades of backwardness. Post-2005, the state shed its ‘jungle raj’ image, embracing rule of law and massive investments in connectivity, power, water, health, and schools. Historic women’s empowerment measures—like India’s first 50% reservation in local polls and Jeevika’s empowerment model—have enabled women-led enterprises worth over ₹60,000 crore. Job creation stands at 60 lakh in two decades, with soaring growth rates signaling Bihar’s ascent.
Expressing hopes for divine grants of health, long life, and service energy, Choudhary’s visit symbolizes the NDA’s unity and vision for Bihar’s future under Kumar’s guidance.
