Delhi’s fight against drugs intensified as Crime Branch officers apprehended Krishna Rathore Kana, a notorious ganja supplier declared wanted by the courts, in a meticulously planned raid in Uttam Nagar. This development promises to unsettle underground networks thriving on narcotics trade.
The Special Judge (NDPS) South-West District Dwarka had labeled Rathore absconding via an order dated February 20, 2026, for his role in supplying confiscated ganja. Intelligence led WR-II unit’s SI Kuldeep Singh to stake out Uttam Nagar, resulting in the arrest near Om Vihar Phase-1 on March 5.
Inspector Gautam Malik supervised the operation, with SI Kuldeep Singh, HC Pawan Hooda, Bhavar, Constable Mukesh, and Tinku forming the core team. Rathore’s evasive maneuvers, including frequent location shifts, tested the officers’ resolve.
Questioning uncovered Rathore’s involvement in a sophisticated gang handling ganja procurement and distribution in Delhi-NCR. Hailing from Kannauj, he completed 10th grade in a state school, later influenced by criminals after relocating his family to Uttam Nagar.
Seeking rapid riches, he embraced the illicit trade. A specialized team is now hunting down his gang members to eradicate the threat comprehensively. The capture strikes at the heart of interstate drug syndicates, bolstering public safety and deterring future suppliers in the region.
