Rajeshwari Suve M’s engineering foundation from Anna University’s Electrical and Electronics BE, combined with Sociology, earned her AIR 2. DU’s Akansh Dhul, B.Com holder, nailed AIR 3 via Commerce and Accountancy.
Fellow DUite Raghav Jhunjhunwala’s Economics BA (Hons) and optional choice secured AIR 4. Ishan Bhatnagar, with NLU BA LLB (Hons) and Sociology, took AIR 5.
The results, out Friday, spotlight top 25 from top institutes like IIT, AIIMS, DU. Optionals spanned Chemistry, Anthropology, Medical Science, Economics, History, and others. Among 958 recommended, 42 PwBD include 10 locomotor, 14 visual, 9 hearing impaired.
Prelims on May 25 drew 576,793 from 937,876 applicants. Mains saw 14,161, interviews 2,736. Gender mix: 659 men, 299 women; top five: 4 men, 1 woman. This year’s success stories blend grit, smarts, and strategy.
