The UPSC Civil Services 2025 results have unveiled inspiring tales from Bihar’s Vaishali, where Ujjwal Priyank’s All India 10th rank and Abhishek Kumar’s 102nd have ignited pride. These young achievers, overcoming odds, now stand as role models for millions dreaming of bureaucracy.
Ujjwal, from Bidupur’s Dilawaripur Purvi Tola, grew under the guidance of engineer-farmer Sanjeev Kumar, known for his orchards. Academically brilliant, he navigated CBSE schooling at Niketan Patna (10th), St. Michael’s Digha (12th), and B.Tech Computer Science in Jaipur. Third-time success brought unexpected joy: ‘I aimed for selection; 10th rank is a dream,’ he beamed.
DM Varsha Singh’s honors amplified the festivities, with crowds at his doorstep. Gratitude flowed to parents and deities Dwarkadhish-R Radha Rani. Abhishek’s arc is equally compelling. From Hajipur Digghi Paschimi, son of academic Abhay Kumar (ex-professor, now Nalanda Registrar), originally from Samastipur, he excelled at Ramakrishna Mission Purulia (10th), local 12th, IIT engineering, then corporate stint before home-based UPSC prep.
Second-attempt triumph, aided by digital resources, led to homecoming revelry with fireworks and sweets. ‘Parents’ support was key,’ Abhishek affirmed. Their stories highlight diverse backgrounds—farmer-engineer and academic—united by resolve, offering a blueprint for UPSC aspirants nationwide.
