A terrorist shot dead by security forces in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir
A terrorist has been killed in an encounter with security forces in the Tral of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama. At the same time, another terrorist surrendered to the security forces. The army said that the security forces had started a joint operation in Nurpora of Avantipora area of the district on the basis of information provided by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. The spokesman said that one terrorist was killed during the encounter while one militant surrendered on appeal. An army spokesman said that an AK rifle and other material have been recovered from the site of the encounter.
The militant hailing from Gulshanpora region has been identified as Saqib Akbar Waja. He has been caught by the security forces. He said that the captured terrorist was missing since 25 September this year. It has been informed that terrorist Saqib was studying civil engineering before joining the terrorist organization.
