The recruitment process of constables started on the instructions of the Chief Minister

On the instructions of the Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the Range-wise Time Table of Physical Efficiency Test (PET) has been released by Police Headquarters Raipur for the recruitment of constable. Physical efficiency examination (PET) was postponed in view of corona infection. Starting from that, the program of Physical Efficiency Test has been released from 4 January and the time for release of the selection list has been fixed till 20 February 2021.
Director General of Police Shri DM A recruitment committee will be formed by the Director General of Range Police at each range level by 14 November as per the schedule laid down by Awasthi for physical fitness test of the constables and the remaining recruitment process. Day wise chart of physical efficiency test and candidates will be released by 15 December. According to the program released, physical efficiency test will be conducted from January 4, 2021 to February 3, 2021 for a total of 11 thousand 672 candidates of Raipur range. Similarly for 21 thousand 140 candidates of Durg range from 4 January to 6 February, 5 thousand 649 candidates of Bilaspur range from 4 January to 16 January, 3 thousand 588 candidates of Sarguja range from 4 to 12 January and Bastar. Physical proficiency test will be conducted from January 4 to January 19, 2021 for 6 thousand 710 candidates of the range. The physical efficiency test has been scheduled for 100 and 800 meter races, long jump, high jump and shot put. Director General of Police Shri Awasthi has instructed to strictly follow the guidelines issued by the Government of India and the Government of Chhattisgarh from time to time for prevention of Kovid-19 pandemic infection during physical efficiency test.
Significantly, the schedule for physical efficiency examination was earlier scheduled from 1 April to 25 April, which was postponed due to circumstances arising due to corona virus infection.
