Raipur 7 December 2024/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, while paying tribute to the martyrs and all the soldiers serving the country on the Armed Forces Flag Day, has said that this day is an opportunity for us to express our gratitude towards the brave soldiers of our country and their families. Provides opportunity to those who sacrificed their lives for the security and integrity of the nation. It is because of the bravery and sacrifice of the brave soldiers that we are free today and living a safe life.

He has appealed to the people of the state to contribute maximum to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund while showing respect for the country's armies, ex-servicemen and martyrs. The Chief Minister said that Armed Forces Day reminds us to fulfill our responsibilities towards the families of our brave soldiers and ex-servicemen.
The Chief Minister has said that all of you should participate enthusiastically in the Flag Day. Whatever money is collected on Flag Day goes towards welfare schemes for our soldiers and their families. I urge all of you to participate in this and contribute to the service of the nation.

Today, on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day, Director, Sainik Welfare Chhattisgarh, Brigadier Shri Vivek Sharma met Chief Minister Shri Sai at his residence office and congratulated him on Armed Forces Flag Day by giving him a lapel pin. The Chief Minister contributed to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund for the welfare of ex-servicemen and families of martyrs. Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri Rahul Bhagat was also present on this occasion.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that our armed forces not only protect the country's borders but also stand with us during natural disasters, internal crises and any humanitarian crisis. The bravery and dedication of our soldiers have kept the country safe in every situation. Brigadier Shri Vivek Sharma said that 27 welfare schemes are run from the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund. This year, an amount of Rs 1 crore 5 lakh has been distributed from this fund to the families of soldiers and martyrs under various schemes.
